このノイズレスは凄いですね。
D200ユーザーですが、羨ましい。
ま、まずい。本気で欲しくなってきた。金欠なのに・・・。

確かにー　自分はK10Dが欲しかったのですが、
両機の画質比べてISOが一段階分いいように見えますね。
なにより安いし・・・ニコンも手ぶれ補正実装してほしいなぁ
そうすりゃ即買いしてしまうかも。

D40買いましたよ。
確かにノイズは少ないと思います。デジタルカメラマガジンの格付けでも
ノイズはダントツの1位でしたね。
ファインダーはしょぼいけど、フォーカスエイド機能があるので、
MFもそれほど苦にならない。
ただし、近距離でMFでピントが決まるのはF2.8ぐらいからで、
おいらの目と腕ではF1.4開放(50mm)だと、なかなか狙ったところに
ピントが来ません。
AEブラケットが無いのが残念な点です。ファームアップでなんとか
ならんのかなあ。
AEは標準だと露出オーバーに感じます。常にマイナス補正しています。
キットレンズでAFが動作するときにシュウィーンという音がして
サイバーな感じが素敵です。動作は速くありません。
シャッター音も軽やかで好きですね。

『人気の理由』？
安い、キムタクが使っている。

主流が1000万画素に移っても600万画素で商売できる。商品としての魅力がある。
と言うことが証明されただけでもヨカッタヨカッタ。
まあAF-Sレンズも売れるからボディがトントンでも利益を押し上げるからなあ。
他社じゃできないな。今後この600万画素の市場を続けていくのかな。
600万画素の高速連写モデルやフルサイズ・・・は無理か。
LBCASTで600万画素機も・・・もっと無理か。

ノイズレスは、気持ちがよい。やはり１０００画素より６００万画素の方が良いなぁ。
手ぶれ補正とゴミ取りを早く搭載してくれっちょ。

Do not compare this with a shitty K100D made by dying Pentax ...

PEntax 's sells dropped 12 percent last year and there is no way the company will survive in the business.

This tiny cute Nikon is a superb camera in term of ergonomics and pure image quality ... Plus , this model has much better Jpeg processing engine than that of shit like Pentax prime or whatever called.

No need a 10mp cam , I also have a Canon EOS 400D , but I seldom use its 10mp large fine mode or RAw unless I know I will crop a lot .

I think this Nikon has a better looking body with better ergonomic design than that of the EOS, and this Nikon D40 tends to a bit over expose but I prefer it better than the Canon's under exposed images...

Though my Canon is much faster with a better Lens selection , plus , my Canon has more DR(dynamic range) , so both are good in many ways and I love both , just do not use it in complete auto mode, then no exposure problems with those two cameras..

Hope Canon 'll buy a body from Nikon.

I wish I could afford for a 30 D but well, I am poor so I will have to stick with the 400D and D40.

うーん画質は文句無いな、バナナの写真一番おいしそうなのはポートレート、より鮮やかには一寸怖い。
